Sudan Cross Country teams compete at Sundown Oil Patch Invitational

The Sudan Hornet and Nettes’ junior high cross country teams competed at the Oil Patch Invitational in Sundown on Saturday.

On the boy’s side, Miles Ledbetter led the Hornets placing 15th overall, clocking a time of 13:56.39.

Will Armstrong finished 58th overall with a time of 15:39.11, while Andres Melendez finished 63rd with a time of 16:05.14, and Kaine Carroll finished 76th with a time of 16:44.97.

Westin Brashear finished 81st with a time of 16:57.46, while Dustin Gray finished 82nd with a time of 17:01.50, and Aiden Flores finished 86th with a time of 17:14.57. Will Wallace finished 106th with a time of 20:16.86, and Hayden Hardin finished 109th with a time of 20:49.74.

On the girl’s side, Anneke VandePol placed fifth overall, clocking a time of 14:58.14.

Alissa Montes finished 54th overall with a time of 16:58.28, while Kyndal Wilson finished 78th with a time of 18:05.16. Kynleigh Green finished 98th with a time of 19:00.10, while Reyna Limon-Johnson finished 108th with a time of 19:41.34, and Noemi Rodriguez finished 110th with a time of 19:54.63.

The Sudan junior high cross country teams will be competing at District on Oct. 9th.
