SE JH cross country teams run hard at Lfd. Invitational

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines and Wolverines’ Junior High cross country teams competed at the Littlefield Invitational last weekend, where the Lady Wolverines finished fifth overall with 129 points.

On the girl’s side, Maribel Villanueva placed third overall with a time of 14:39, while Amethyst Huerta finished 16th overall with a time of 15:54, and Brizza Reyes finished 25th with a time of 16:26.

Violeta Chavez finished 42nd with a time of 17:28 and Bryleigh Hall finished 84th with a time of 22:40.

On the boy’s side, Josiah Castillo finished 24th with a time of 15:09.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines and Wolverines’ junior high cross country teams competed at LCU on Saturday. Results were not available at press time.
