Dear friends, who of us does not face trials in this life? We all do. In fact, just about the time we seem to get over our current trial or situation, there always seems to be another one waiting for us around the corner! I know I’m not alone today.

State Capital Early voting begins Oct. 24 Early voting in the Nov. 8 general election begins Oct. 24 and runs through Nov. 4. Applications for voting by mail must be received by Oct. 28, according to the secretary of state’s office.
