Letter to the Editor:
“We at the Lamb County Library are very touched every year at the generosity of our local businesses that know the importance of reading and community involvement and are willing to aid us in creating programs directed towards the children and families of our community. Each year we prepare for our Summer Reading Program, eager to see the children’s faces light up at the events we have planned for them. We also make sure every child is permitted a snack for the day and promotional items or goodies.
Another annual event during our Summer Reading Program is our reading contest. Each child keeps a reading log and at the end of the month we announce the winners from our three different categories for the children who have read the most. There will be prizes for that contest, of course and educational fun for all.”
