Give Thanks for your Mom!

A lot of people ask me about God’s Will. They say, “What is God’s Will for my life?”

And the answer is simple: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Three important things are mentioned, Rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks. It’s important to notice that we are to give thanks IN all circumstances not FOR all circumstances. There are lots of things that happen, and I am not thankful they happened. But one thing I am very thankful for is my Mom. I am very fortunate to have a Godly Mother who displays the Fruit of the Spirit. She is kind to everyone and has always been a source of encouragement to me. On top of that, I am married to an amazing Mom and there are hundreds of fantastic Moms in the Church I am blessed to Pastor

Ṡo, if give thanks for your Mom today and know that you are invited to join us this Sunday at First Baptist Church as we celebrate. Next to Christmas and Easter, Mother’s Day typically has the highest church attendance, and we are planning for a fantastic day of Worship.
