To the Patrons of Littlefield ISD:

It is hard to believe we have completed three weeks of school! Our students and staff will be out of school on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. School will resume at regular time Tuesday, September 7. As we get back in rhythm, please continue to push your child(ren) to give maximum effort each day in the classroom. Our teaching staff and aides are working extremely hard to ensure we are doing everything possible to close the gaps that COVID presented. On top of giving maximum effort, we also need you to have your child(ren) at school on time and ready to learn. With that being said, TOGETHER we can accomplish many endeavors! Please feel free to contact your child’s school at your convenience with any questions or concerns.

I would like to “Thank” all Primary staff members on making the first annual back to school picnic a huge success! Kudos to our Primary Principal, Staci Sumners on organizing and putting this event together. Homecoming 2021 is scheduled for the week of September 20-24. The Homecoming Bonfire will be held on Thursday, September 23 at dusk. The bonfire is taking place on Highway 385 heading toward Earth, Texas. Please be careful as you drive to the location as many students, adults and children will be out and about and this is a very busy highway. The Wildcats will be playing Abernathy on Friday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. for Homecoming. I encourage you to come out and support ALL of our student athletes in Cross Country, Volleyball and Football. A friendly reminder to support our Wildcat Band as they prepare for the upcoming season, etc. I am proud of our students and teachers who work hard in the classroom and in the extracurricular arena each day.

Have a GREAT LABOR DAY!
