Elida Rendon, 82, of Anton passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at home. She was born Sept. 28, 1939 in Asherton, TX to Silverio Medina and Alejandra Lopez Medina. Elida married Trinidad Rendon in December of 1955 in San Antonio, TX. The couple moved from San Antonio to Anton in 1956.

Candal Lori Obenhaus-Long, 46, of Lubbock, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born March 20, 1975 in Littlefield, to Terry Obenhaus and Betty (Baker) Poynor-Meador. Candal graduated from Muleshoe High School and then attended Clovis Community College and majored in Nursing.

Services for Vondee Mears, 86, were held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hillcrest Funeral Home with internment in Littlefield Memorial Cemetery. Vondee Mears entered the gates of heaven early Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
