Graveside service for Wayne Simmons, age 83, ofAmherst, TX, was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 at Littlefield Memorial Park with Joe Champouillon of Muleshoe, TX officiating. Wayne died Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 in Amherst. Arrangements were under the personal care of Ellis Funeral Home.

He was born Dec. 17, 1936 in Marietta, GA to Austin Glen and Josie Bell (Basset) Simmons. He was married to Martha Elia Jacquez. Wayne was a painter for all his life.
