TIODORO RIVERA

Tiodoro “Lobo” Rivera, 83, of Olton, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, in San Antonio. Rosary was said at 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with Fr. Jacob Powell officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Tiodoro was born April 7, 1937, in Pecos, TX, to Antonio and Modesta (Gomez) Rivera. Moving to Olton over 66 years ago, Lobo worked for the City of Olton for many years and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Tiodoro was recognized as one of the first members of the Cursillistas. An avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan, Lobo enjoyed telling stories and cooking.
