Sonya (Vasquez) Fields, 33, of Littlefield, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 21, 1987 in Littlefield to Robert and May (DeLaFuente) Vasquez.
Sonya attended Littlefield High School where she played Wildcat basketball and graduated with the class of 2006. After graduation, she enlisted in the United States Air Force where she proudly served her country for six years and did a tour of deployment in 2007-2008. Sonya was a wonderful mother to her baby girl, Mila Janelle Vasquez. She also enjoyed working out and eating healthy.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
