Ronnie Cantrell, 72, of Tucumcari and formerly of Earth, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, in Amarillo. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Ronnie Joe was born Jan. 3, 1948, in Amherst, Tx, to Vernie and Claudia (Crossland) Cantrell. Ronnie served in the United States Army in the 1st Calvary Division from 1966 to 1967 during the Vietnam War. A talented welder and mechanic, Ronnie enjoyed working with his hands. He was a member of the First Baptist Church ofDimmitt. Ronnie also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved racing cars.
