Rojelio Vargas, 74, of Littlefield, TX, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2025, in Littlefield. He was born on Sept. 20, 1951, in Littlefield to Tomas and Belia Vargas.
Rojelio was born and raised in Littlefield. He was one of twelve brothers and sisters. He was funny and had a good sense of direction. Although Rojelio had a disability in life that would prohibit most people from working, he was always helping others all over town. Taking advantage of the wheelbarrow and garden hoe he had, Rojelio found his happiness in doing lawn care for people that he encountered. He never let his disability define him or the things he could accomplish. Rojelio was a lively man. He lived in a group home in Plainview, TX for several years and made a lot of friends there. He was residing at Arbor Grace Nursing and Rehab in Littlefield. Communication could be difficult at times for Rojelio, but despite that, he always found a way to let you know what he wanted you to know. Rojelio enjoy pizza and Diet Dr. Pepper.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother and wife; sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rojelio was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; and two sisters.
Celebration of life service for Rojelio Vargas was held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2025, at the Temple of Adoration Church in Littlefield.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
