ROEL ‘ROY’ MUNOZ

Roel “Roy” Munoz, 42, of Muleshoe, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, in Lubbock. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at American Boulevard Church of Christ in Muleshoe with Pastor Angie Castillo of Iglesia Del Pueblo Church in Earth officiating. Interment followed at Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Roy was born Aug. 15, 1978, in Edinburg, TX, to Rufino and Elizabeth (January) Munoz. He married Vanessa DeLeon, in 2002, in to Roy was a Del Pueblo Church in Earth. He was a Director of Child Nutrition for A+ Foods and then for Southwest Foods and served in many of the area schools. Roy was mentored by Pastor Patrick Porras and he became a deacon and minister for the youth.
