MIKE CASTILLO

Mike Castillo, age 54, passed away on Nov. 24, 2020 at 9:25 p.m. at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX after a nine day battle with covid-19 pneumonia. Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at Littlefield Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the care of Hammons Funeral Home.

He was born on Aug. 8, 1966 in Littlefield, TX to Margarito (Mike) and Anita S. Castillo. Mike was full of life. He enjoyed watching football: Texas Longhorns, Kansas City Chiefs or the Dallas Cowboys. Mike worked at Lubbock County for 17 years. During that time, he held several positions from working in the hotcheck office, the county treasure and most recently in the judicial compliance department as the office manager.
