Funeral Services for Mary (Rios) Arredondo 56, of Orange Grove, Texas is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28 at 11:30 am at Trevino Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial in Corpus Christi. Monday will be visitation from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prayer Services at 7 p.m., also at Trevino Funeral Home in Corpus Christi.
She passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Alice, Texas. Mary was born in Littlefield, Texas to Beningo and Anita Rios. She married Edward Arredondo from Corpus Christi. She worked for Orange Grove Cafeteria for over 20 years. She enjoyed time with her children and family. Mary was known to light a room up with her sense of humor, smile and laughter. She was also very out-going and loving person, always on the go. She was a kind and caring soul that will be loved and missed by many dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Beningo Rios; her brother, Angel Rios; and grandparents. Also, her daughter, Melissa Arredondo. Her nephews, Christopher Aguilar and Mike Rios.
Left to Cherish her memories is her husband, Edward Arredondo of Orange Grove; mother, Anita Rios of Littlefield, Texas; sons, Eric Rios (Rosie) of Corpus Christi, Brian Rios (Jayla) of Alice, Texas and Edward Arredondo, Jr of Orange Grove; daughters, Elaine Arredondo (Martin Garica) and Marlaina Arredondo (Troy Oliphint) of Kingsville, Texas; grandsons, Angel Martinez, Luke Rios and Tristian Contreras, Troy (wolf) Oliphint and Maximus Rios; grand-daughters, Audrie Martinez, Khloe Contreras, Chanel Rios, and Lalianna Oliphint; brothers, Ben Rios of Lubbock, Texas, Mike and MaryJane Rios of Littlefield and Luis Rios of Littlefield; sisters Alice (Edward) Rios of Littlefield, Margie Rios of Littlefield and Angela Rios from Levelland, Texas; and numerous of nieces and nephews. Some who loved her and treated her as their grandma.
Honoring Mary as Pallbearers are her sons, Eric Rios , Brian Rios and Edward, Jr and her daughters, Elaine (Martin ) Arredondo and Marlaina (Troy); and grandson Angel Martinez.
