Marvin DeWitt of Littlefield, Texas passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Marvin was born in Salinas, California to Milford DeWitt and Roseylea Harris on March 30, 1950. He married Elizabeth Schuessler on March 14, 1970.

Marvin was a jack of all trades, very creative whether it was building homes, being a mechanic, rebuilding cars, building motorcycles, training horses or running a farm, he did his best at everything he did. His greatest accomplishment was his marriage and his four children. He was a hard worker and provider, just one of the things he instilled in raising his family and he loved his life. He was a cowboy at heart who loved his Harleys. Marvin was dearly loved, respected and cherished by everyone close to him and had an impact on all that knew him. He led his family, was a good husband, father, and grandpa. He was their hero and daddy and will be dearly missed.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Beth; his children, Melissa (DeWitt) Hayward, Curt DeWitt (his favorite son) and Michelle Soto, Bridgette (DeWitt) and Beau Hiltbrunner, Farrah (DeWitt) and Joe Valdez, and his nephew that was more like another son, Chuck Williams; sixteen grandchildren, Brandon, Kirsten, Lacey, Justin, Jared, Gabe, Talon, Cheyenne, Jesse, Bennett, Synthia, Gabriel, Tristan, Mathias, Autumn and Xander; seven great-grandchildren, Kendyl, Rheyli, Rhustli, Kolter, Paysen, Sawyer and Malia; sister, Debbie DeWitt; brother-in-laws, Mick and Dan Schuessler; sister-in-laws, Carol Cory and Judy Schuessler, who was like a little sister to him; and nieces and
