Maria Guadalupe Ibanez, 70, of Olton, TX, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, in Olton. Rosary was said Thursday evening, Oct. 1, 2020, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. A private family mass was held on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, with interment at Olton Cemetery.
Maria was born Nov. 3, 1949, in Prajedis Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Luis and Maria (Chavez) Rodriguez. She married Victor Ibanez, Sr. on Feb. 5, 1968, and was a homemaker. Maria was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She was very involved in many aspects of the church, including being a member of the Guadalupanas. Maria enjoyed cooking traveling, reading, being outdoors, and going to yard sales.
