Margaret Charlene Pierce Morgan, 89, of Amherst gained her angel wings Friday, December 25, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born August 17, 1931 to Doris Nelson Pierce and Beulah Britton Pierce in Pep, Texas.

Margaret had many hobbies, including stain glass work, sewing, piecing quilts, painting landscape scenes, and crocheting. She had a strong love for her family, especially her two sisters. She married the love of her life, Alton “Red” Morgan August 28, 1948 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was waiting for her in Heaven, along with her parents, two brothers one sister, one step-brother, one daughter-in-law and one grandchild.

Margaret is survived by a son, Larry Morgan of Lubbock; daughter, Sharon Nicholson and husband, Bruce of Amherst; two sisters, Etoyl Biersdorf of Idaho and Joyce Malone of Weatherford, Texas; five grandchildren, Chris Morgan and wife, Tracy of Edgewood, NM, Nick Morgan and wife, Amber of Sweetwater, TX, Amy Kitchens and husband, Jason of Prince Fredrick, Maryland; Kay Adams of Ransom Canyon, Texas, Shawn Nicholson and wife, Kristie of Dallas, TX; and eleven great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Amherst or Sudan volunteer EMS or Fire departments.
