In Loving Memory Of Todd Ray Stafford

Todd Ray Stafford of Lubbock, Texas and formerly of Littlefield, TX passed away on Jan. 20, 2021 at the age of 59. Todd was born in Littlefield, TX on May 4, 1961 to Dr. Del and Joyce Stafford. He grew up and attended Littlefield schools, graduating in 1979 and was a drum major his senior year. Following high school, he attended Texas Tech and Mountain View College. He returned to Littlefield and started a family in 1984. Music was Todd’s passion and over the years he was in various bands, sang at many weddings and funerals, and was very involved in the local theater community. Over the years he was a member of First Baptist, First United Methodist, and Trinity Fellowship Churches of Littlefield. He served as a member of the Littlefield Chamber of Commerce, where he worked to help create Denim Fest, and served in the role of President in 1996. In 1997 he was named Littlefield’s Man of the Year. He worked at John Roley’s AutoCenter and Mercedes of Lubbock as financing manager, and at Hamlin Memorial Methodist Church in Farwell as the music minister. Todd was involved with the local Emmaus community serving at the Llano Estacado and New Horizon Communities. Todd is best remembered by his smile and his infectious personality, as well as his ability to make those around him feel appreciated and welcomed. Perhaps his most well-known ‘Todd-ism’ when someone entered the room was, “Hey how awe ya?”

Todd was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Cole Stafford and wife, Juli of Hereford, Jessica Stafford of Lubbock, and Amanda Stafford of Lubbock. Most especially he will be missed by his “precious boy” and grandson, Lucas. Brother, Mike and wife, Joan of Dallas, and sister, Pam and husband, Quinn of Littlefield. Numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
