In Loving Memory Of Pat T. Kent

Graveside service for Pat T. Kent, age 88, of Sudan, TX, is scheduled for 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021 at Sudan Cemetery with Mike Woods of Sudan officiating. Pat died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 in Lubbock, TX.

He was born Feb. 8, 1932 in Sudan to Dudley M. and Pauline (Kyzer) Kent. He married Patsy Hanna in Clovis, NM on May 6, 1953. Pat served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a mechanic for many years. Pat was a remote control airplane enthusiast and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his grandkids and his great-grandkids. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sudan, where he served as a deacon for over 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Arthur B. Kent and Bill Kent.

Pat is survived by his wife, Patsy; his two sons, Paul Kent and his wife, Kathy of Lubbock, TX and Perry Kent and his wife, Valerie of Amarillo, TX; his daughter, Pamela Alvarez and her husband, Abel of Colorado City, TX; his two sisters, Christine Brown of Tomball, TX and Peggy Baker of Sudan, TX; his two brothers, Joe H. Kent of Sudan, and Timothy D. Kent of Silverton, TX; his six grandchildren; and his five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to First Baptist Church in Sudan, PO Box 125, Sudan, Texas, 79371.
