Minerva “Minnie” Trevirio, 72, of Littlefield, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 in Lubbock. She was born March 31, 1948 in Hebbronville, TX to Honorato and Magdalena (Pena) Trejo.

Minnie married Floyd Trevirio Aug. 10,1974 in Uvalde, TX. She retired from Security State Bank in Littlefield. Before that she worked at Perry’s, Gibson’s and Littlefield ISD. She enjoyed baking and cake decorating. Minnie was a selfless and kind woman who was always attending to others needs before her own. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and she loved going door to door preaching the Good News. She liked flowers and plants, watching old movies and Disney, and the Hallmark Channel. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and having them over to spend the night.

Minnie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Floyd Trevirio of Littlefield; a son, Edward Trevirio and wife, Janet of Littlefield; a daughter, Linda Marie Trevirio Perez and husband, Danny Perez Jr. of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Lauren Camacho and husband, Jonas, Desiree Trevirio, Karen Trevino, Jeremiah Trevirio and wife, Maria, Kateland Aguirre and husband, Danny, Kyndall Perez, and Daniel Perez; twelve great-grandchildren, Jonas Braelon, Leah, Isabella, Jonathan, Tyler, Caleb, Layla, Mateo, Kalinda, Avianna, Bethany, Chanel “Sunshine”, and one on the way; three brothers, Adalberto Trejo of Lamont, CA, Ramiro Trejo and wife, Lupe of Littlefield, David Trejo and wife, Lea of Littlefield; a sister, Olga Hernandez of Littlefield; a-sister-in law, Dora Trejo of Littlefield; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Juan Trejo; a sister-in-law Lucia Trejo; and a brother-in-law Juan Hernandez.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday Nov. 5, 2020 at Grace Chapel. Interment will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

Serving as pallbearers will be Edward Trevirio, Danny Perez Jr., Jonas Camacho, Honorato Trejo, Jeremiah Trevirio, and Billy Perez.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Olga Hernandez for her dedicated and wonderful care of her sister, Minnie while she was ill.
