Jesus "Jessie" Lopez, 90, of Littlefield, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 at his home. He was born Jan. 6, 1930 in Mexico to Andres Lopez and Rosa Maria (Calderon) Lopez.

Jesus married Isaura Calderon Oct. 14, 1948 in Mexico. He enjoyed celebrating his anniversary with his wife and family, they would have been married 72 years on the day that the family will now celebrate his funeral Mass. Jesus was a good man, he was known as "Pa" to his grandkids, whom loved him dearly. He had a passion for firearms and was an avid coin collector, which have been passed down to his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted Catholic who rarely missed Mass and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Isaura Lopez of Littlefield; six sons, Jesus Lopez, Jr. and wife, .Tosefina of Cicero, IL, Felipe Lopez and wife, Maria of Lubbock, Adalberto Lopez and wife, Diane of Littlefield, Andres Lopez and wife, Violet ofLittlefield, Jose Jesus Lopez and wife, Lydia ofLubbock, Efrain Lopez and wife, Adriana of Lubbock; seven daughters, Emma Lopez of Earth, Isaura Garcia and husband, Candido of Lubbock, Elba Lopez of Lubbock, El ida Hernandez and husband, Stephen of Lubbock, Elsa Longoria of Lub~ock, Monica Polando and husband, David of Littlefield, and Mana Elena Fuentes and husband, Demetrio of Littlefield; thirty grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Jose Luis Lopez.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Intennent will follow in Earth Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Cesar Acosta, Felipe Lopez, Jr., Albert Lopez, Jr., Andrew Lopez, JJ Lopez, Alex DeLeon, Marc Solis, and Sebastian Lopez.

Rosary was recited Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
