In Loving Memory Of Connie ‘BoMan’ Bowman

Connie ½BoMan’ Bowman, 63, of Littlefield, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 in Littlefield. He was born April 8, 1957 in Littlefield to Harold Ray Bowman and Sue (Cowan) Bowman.

Connie graduated from Littlefield High School in 1975. He married Cheryl Johnson Oct. 17, 1992 in Hale Center, TX. Connie was a farmer for many years. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and going to the horseraces. Connie had a big heart, he was a jokester and was always smiling. Most of all, he loved being with his family, watching his kids and later his grandkids play sports, and was a loving “PopPop” to his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bowman of Littlefield; his two sons, Brandon Bowman and wife, America of Littlefield and Bryson Bowman and wife, Audra of Lubbock; five grandchildren, Bailey Bowman of Lubbock, Madyson Bowman ofNacogdoches, Brendon Bowman of Littlefield, Brooks Bowman of Lubbock, and Beckett Bowman ofLubbock; his mother, Sue Bowman ofLittlefield; a brother, Rocky Bowman and wife, Tracy of Littlefield; a sister, Donna Moreland and husband, Greg of San Angelo; and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services were held Monday morning, Feb. 1, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Littlefield with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers were Wes Johnson, Murvin Johnson, Rodney Geissler, Steve Brock, Brain Muller, and Bobby Kauffman. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
