In Loving Memory Of Christy Clark

Memorial service for Christy Clark, age 62, of Earth, TX, is scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Earth, with Mike Bryant of Earth officiating. Christy died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 in Lubbock, TX.

She was born July 5, 1958 in Wichita Falls, TX to C.L. “Shorty” and Pattsy (Braudaway) Barlow.

She married Larry Clark in Earth on Dec. 10, 1977.

Christy was a long time Earth resident. She was a 1976 graduate of Springlake-Earth High School and an avid Wolverine fan. She was a beautician, a U.S. Postal Clerk, a Municipal Judge for Earth and the Justice of the Peace, Precinct #2 for Lamb County. Christy was also a volunteer with Earth EMS. Christy adored her family and loved all of her Earth people and friends.

She is preceded in death by a son, Kipper Clark.

Christy is survived by her husband, Larry; her son, Rowdy Clark and his wife, Penny of Canadian, TX; her brother, Claude Barlow and his wife, Ronette of Memphis, TN; and her two favorite grandchildren, Rylun Clark and Dacey Clark The family suggests memorials be sent to Earth Memorial Cemetery, PO Box 523, Earth, Texas, 79031.
