Church service for Beverly Walden, age 76, of Springlake, Texas, was held Monday morning, June 10, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Springlake with Rob Norris of Springlake officiating. Burial was in Springlake Cemetery. Beverly died Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Springlake. She was born August 18, 1947 in Muleshoe, Texas to Lester and Leta (Teel) Kelley. She married Delvin Walden in Springlake on June 18, 1965.
Beverly worked with her husband, Delvin on the farm for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Springlake, where she was a kindergarten Sunday school teacher for 58 years. She had a passion for teaching kids about Jesus, and she taught Vacation Bible School for many years as well. Her faith was evident to all by the ways she shared the love of God. Beverly loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Delvin; her son, Richard Walden and his wife, Cynthia of Cotton Center, Texas; her daughter, Kelley Fennell and her husband, Lexie of Lubbock, Texas; her sister, Billie Kay Doggett and her husband, Allen of Lubbock, Texas; her five grandchildren, Amy Williams and her husband, Steven, Heath Fennell and his wife, Kari, Blake Fennell, Ryan Walden and Rachel Walden; and her two great-grandchildren, Stetson Williams and Rylee Williams.
