Betty Lou (Spradley) O’Keefe, 84, of Anton passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021 in Amherst. She was born Oct. 21, 1936 in Anton to Fieldton and Cora (Nelson) Spradley.

Betty loved Jesus and was active in Prison Ministry. She served as the Activity Director for many years at St. Anthony’s in Amarillo, now known as BSA, worked as a school bus driver for White Deer ISD, and traveled the country as a truck driver for several years. Betty was a talented pianist and could play by ear. She was a generous woman, and she loved to cook meals for those in need.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Truby Stamps and husband, Ronnie of Anton; two sons, Nicky Jezisek of Anton and Eddy Jezisek and wife, Toni of Navasota, TX; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and three sisters, Geneta Miller of Ft. Worth, TX, Barbara Hankins of Athens and Donna Roberts of Round Rock, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Kenneth “Corky” Spradley and Eugene Spradley.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at Lawrence Avenue Church of Christ in Anton with Larry Bloskas officiating. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Anton Cemetery Association (PO Box 413, Anton TX 79313).
