Kurt Wanser Pieratt, 82, of Lubbock, TX, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Littlefield, TX. He was born on March 6, 1944, in Dumas, TX to Dr. Karl Wayne Pieratt and Maxine Wanser.
In 1961, Kurt graduated from Dumas High School. When Kurt was 41, he married his wife, Deanna Donald Myers, on Oct. 20, 1984, in Littlefield. They had three children and later also had grandchildren. Kurt was a purchasing agent for the Tolk Station in 1998. He also worked for the Internal Revenue Service.
Kurt was skilled at plumbing. He was in touch with his religion and was a Baptist. He was also a part of the Lions Club in Sehreiner. Kurt loved to eat and enjoyed a variety of foods.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three children; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sister.
Kurt was preceded in death by his parents; his brother; and a sister.
Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon, June 13, 2026, at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
