Josefa “Josie” Gloria, 81, of Olton, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at her home, in Olton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton, with Mr. Jimmy Villanueva and Pastor Sammy Espinosa officiating. Interment followed at Littlefield Cemetery in Littlefield under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Josefa was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Pecos, TX, to Antonio and Modesta (Gomez) Rivera. Josie’s family were migrant workers and began coming to Olton in 1948. Josefa was honored to be married three times and she outlived each of her husbands. Her husband’s were Jose Cordero, Ralph Flores, and Rodolfo “Rudy” Gloria. She was a baker and worked for Furr’s Cafeteria in Plainview for 25 years. She also was a Wal-Mart door greeter in Levelland for six years. She enjoyed painting and drawing, sewing, quilting, bakeing, and singing.
