Jose Ramirez San Juan, 63, of Olton, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, in Lubbock. Rosary was said Sunday evening, Sept. 20, 2020, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton with Fr. Jacob Powell as celebrant. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Jose was born July 1, 1957, in Caltimacan, Hidalgo, Mexico, to Sabino and Bruna (Ramirez) San Juan. He married Lucy Rodriguez on Dec. 20, 1976. Moving to Olton in 1981, Jose was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Cursillistas. He was a very hard-working man.
