J. LEWIS MORRIS

J. Lewis Morris, age 94, of Littlefield, passed away on Jan. 14, 2021. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at Anton Cemetery with Pastor Bryant Sears officiating. Arrangements were under the care of Hammons Funeral Home.

Mr. Morris was born on Nov. 7, 1926 in Muleshoe, TX to Scott and Vivian (Wortham) Morris. He honorably served his country in the Unites States Army, serving in Hawaii. He worked for many years as a gas field worker, for Lone Star and Atmos Gas Companies. Mr. Morris was a great fan of football, he enjoyed watching and attending games. He also enjoyed CB and HAM radio operating. Mr. Morris and his wife, Loraine loved Colorado; where they acted as Camp Ground Hosts for many years in Pagosa Springs.

Mr. Morris was a member of Sunset Baptist Church.
