FELIX V. HERNANDEZ, JR.

Felix V. Hernandez, Jr., 79, of Littlefield passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023. He was born June 22, 1944 in Mathis, TX to Felix Hernandez Sr. and Anita Vasquez Hernandez.

Felix married Aurora Cortez in 1966 and the couple made their home in Littlefield. Felix was a determined self-taught man. He was a talented musician, learning to play various instruments by ear from an early age, and he was a member of the ‘Los Dominadores del Norte’ band for several years. Felix was a master mechanic. Even though he struggled to read, he was a dedicated Christian who took the time to memorize scripture and applied it to his daily walk.

Services to celebrate the life Felix was held Thursday afternoon, June 29, 2023 at Grace Chapel at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Spencer officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
