Dolores Betancourt

Dolores Betancourt 80, of Littlefield passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. Dolores was born in Saspamco, TX to the late Jesus Zamora and Amalia Arriola on April 4, 1941.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care Lubbock -Chapel, 3418 Interstate 27, with funeral services Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Littlefield. Burial will take place in the Littlefield Cemetery.

Dolores, a friendly woman who met no strangers, was loved, and liked by many. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed singing songs of praise. Dolores loved her family, especially her grandchildren, she also enjoyed sewing and baking sweets.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Medardo Jesse Perez (Isabel), Alejandro Claudia Perez Alex, Jose Betancourt (Mayte), Robert Betancourt (Kelly), Eva Betancourt, and Adan Betancourt (Janey). She also leaves to cherish her fondest memories: her mother, Amalia Zamora-Arriola; 15 sisters and brothers; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Anselmo Betancourt; father, Jesus Zamora; and son; Fidencio Betancourt. Funeral services are entrusted to the care of Grace Funeral Care Inc.
