Dale Gene Stanley

Dale Gene Stanley, 80, of Littlefield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 in Littlefield. He was born April 25, 1940 near Cotton Center, TX to E.B. and Bea Stanley.

Dale married Sandra Vick Dec. 29,1961 in Littlefield. He farmed all his life around Bainer and Spade. He retired from farming in 2005, and spent some time traveling with his wife. He reentered farming in 2015 where he shared his love of farming and building things with his daughters. He continued to farm until his death. He served as an Elder of the Lawrence Avenue Church of Christ in Anton, TX.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra Vick Stanley of Littlefield; son, Michael Gene Stanley and wife, Tami of Terrell, TX; daughters, Kathie and Kellie Stanley of Littlefield; grandsons, Daniel, James, and Jonathan Stanley all of Terrell, TX; sister, Joyce Allamon and husband, Brian of Lubbock, TX; brother, Royce Stanley and wife, Ginger of Greenwood, TX; and brother, Larry Stanley and wife, Judy ofLittlefield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.B. and Bea Stanley of Spade in 2002.

Family funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at Grace Chapel in Hillcrest Funeral Home with Larry Bloaskas officiating. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the New Mexico Children’s Home (1356 NM 236, Portales, NM 88130).
