Curtis Eugene Parker, 95, of Lazbuddie, TX, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29,2026, in Lubbock, TX. Graveside services were held Friday afternoon, Oct. 2, 2026, at Earth Memorial Cemetery in Earth, TX under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Curtis was born March 28, 1931, in Henderson County, TX, to R.G. and Lucille (Cranford) Parker. Curtis served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 during the Korean War. After the army, he spent most of his life fanning in the Muleshoe, Hub, and Lazbuddie areas. In later years, Curtis drove combines and other farm equipment, worked for area farmers, and also worked at Blackwater. Curtis liked attending farm sales, keeping up with farming and farmers, and visiting with neighbors and friends. He also enjoyed watching Gunsmoke.
