Bill Howell, beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, passed peacefully from this world at the age of 72 on Jan. 11,2021 after abrief illness.

Bill was born in Frederick, OK on June 4,1948. His family moved to the Littlefield area in the 1950’s. Bill graduated from Littlefield High School in 1966. He met and married the love of his life, Vicky Dianne Talley, at Wayland Baptist College in 1968. They were married in 1969 and had 51 years of life together. He graduated from Wayland in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Psychology. Shortly after graduation, he served his country honorably in the Vietnam war.

Bill worked in a variety ofjobs through the years, including at American Cotton Growers, Burlington Industries, VTS, and Industrial Molding Corporation in Lubbock. He was a strong, mtelligent, generous, and quiet man who loved his family fiercely. In his free time he enjoyed fossil hunting, cycling, and shooting. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to treasure his memory include his wife Vicky; his parents, Donnie and Birdie Howell of Plainview; his brother, Jackie Howell of Lubbock; his sister, Kathy Ebeling of Plainview; his daughters, Amy Howell of Hemet, CA, and Angee Calvert of Copperas Cove; his grandchildren, Ramsey, Layla, and Keira; and his nieces Krista, Julie, Katie, and Emmalee.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Howell, in 1986. Committal service will be at Littlefield Cemetery on Monday, on Jan. 18,2021 at 3:30 pm
