BESSIE LEONARD GILBERT

Bessie Naomi (Leonard) Gilbert, age 92, of Muleshoe, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at Parkview Nursing Home in Muleshoe. Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield with Wayne Pierson officiating and under the direction of the Hammons Funeral Home in Littlefield.

Naomi was born June 16, 1928 in Port, OK to Rufus Adolph (Doc) and Oma DeLila (Folk) Leonard. She graduated from Spade High School and married Doyle Gilbert on Nov. 15, 1947.

Naomi was a homemaker, gardener, canner and cook. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling.
