ALVARO GUADALUP GUERRERO

Alvaro Guadalupe Guerrero, 28, of Olton, died Monday, June 26, 2023, at his home, in Olton, TX. Rosary was said at 6 p. m., Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 29, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Heriberto Mercado officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Alvaro was born April 23, 1995, in Hale Center, TX, to Constanzo and Silvia (Del Castillo) Guerrero. At birth, doctors told the family Alvaro would not live longer than 72 hours. However, what a surprise and joy the last 28 years have been for Alvaro’s family. A miracle child, Alvaro lived in Olton all his life and graduated from Olton High School in 2016. Listening to music, especially country music, was his favorite thing to do. He made an impact on his family, teachers, and all who knew him and cared for him throughout his life. Although he could not see and supposedly could not hear, Alvaro could sense when someone was in the room. Alvaro had a unique and special bond with each family member and caretaker and will be deeply missed by all.
