Aquatic Center Fees and Rules
The Aquatic Center is open to the public six days a week, weather permitting. Contact 806-551-2033 or visit the facility for any questions. The City Manager may establish further minor policies to give fair opportunities to interested patrons, maintain safety and care of facility.
Admission $3.00 – Everyone that enters the facility must pay or have a ticket, whether swimming or not. Admission is not refundable.
No season passes. Books of passes may be purchased at a discount and group discounts are available. The 20 ticket pass book cost is $50 (at $2.50 each).
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday – Saturday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Monday for cleaning
Pool Parties
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. (Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun) Must be scheduled in advance at City Hall or at the Aquatic Center
Party Fees
$225 – 2-hour rental up to 100 people $285 – 2-hour rental 101 to 160 people $330 – 3-hour rental up to 100 people $390 – 3-hour rental 101 to 160 people Down payment of $100 is due when reservation is made.
The balance of rental fee must be received at least 48 hours before the party date. If cancellation is less than 2 weeks of party date, the $100 down payment is forfeited. Additional rentals may be limited due to demand. Responsible renters must be a t least 18 years of age. Renters may not collect any fees during party rentals. User shall comply with all federal, stat, and local laws. Lifeguards will be provided according to the number of guests. User may not physically attach materials in the facility. This includes using tape or tacks on a painted service.
First Day of Rentals
Party Rentals open the second Tuesday in May each year at 9 a.m. at City Hall, 301 XIT. Only one rental allowed per person or entity on the first day. After the first day, rentals will be first come first serve and up to two per person or entity. All rentals or refunds for weather must be approved by the Pool Manager or City Manager.
Party Table Fees (during regular operation hours)
• $35 er hour (plus admission fee per person)
• Table may be reserved during regular operation hours.
• No more than three parties at one time.
• Rental includes 10 drinks. May bring birthday cake and ice cream.
• Total Party fee is due when reservation is made.
• No cancellations.
General Pool Rules –Littlefield Aquatic Center
• Pool patrons are required to take a shower before entering the pool
• Approved swim wear must be worn. (Only white t-shirts allowed over swimsuit at the discretion of the head lifeguard on duty)
• All children 9 years of age and younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult seventeen (17) years of age or older.
• Running and horseplay is not allowed in the pool area.
• Diving permitted in designated are only. No head first diving from side of pool.
• Persons with open wounds or sores or evidence of a contagious disease will not be allowed in the pool.
• Swimmers must stay off ropes, safety lines and lifeguard stands.
• Food and Beverages are prohibited in the actual swimming areas.
• No outside Food, Beverages or Coolers may be brought into the Aquatic Center facility, with the exception of, day Party Table rentals and after hours Pool Parties.
• Flotation devices must be in satisfactory condition and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard.
• The pool is a non-smoking facility. No tobacco products of any kind are permitted.
• No vaping or use of electronic smoking devices is allowed.
• The City of Littlefield and/or pool Employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• The manager or his designee reserves the right to refuse admittance or to remove anyone, if in his/her opinion the safety and/or health of the public is in danger.
• Loitering is not permitted outside the pool area including the parking lot.
• All admission fees will be applicable to any individual entering the pool area regardless of it they plan to swim or not.
• No rain or inclement weather refunds of daily admissions.
• Extreme display of affection will not be allowed
• Profanity, improper behavior, intoxication, and vulgar remarks are not permitted.
• No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed on premises.
• Glass containers and sharp metal objects of any kind are not allowed.
• Hanging on lifeline is not permitted except in emergency.
• Lifeguards are required to enforce above listed rules. Arguments and disagreements with lifeguards are prohibited. The Pool Manager may be consulted in the event of a disagreement.
• Prepurchase tickets must be presented a the ticket window.
• Hours of operation 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday
• Party Rentals may be allowed from 7 p.m. until 8 or 9 p.m.
Diving Board Rules
• Diver must be able to swim unassisted. Staff will require swimming test if questionable.
• No personal floatation devices allowed on diving boards.
• One diver at a time.
• Be sure diving area is clear before diving.
• Two (2) bounces only.
• Dive straight off board.
• Do not swim underneath the diving board.
• No open swimming in the diving well, unless diving boards are closed.
