Kenan Dale Lichte, 66, lifelong resident of Littlefield passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 in Lubbock. He was born Jan. 9, 1955 in Muleshoe to Les and Dottie (Roberson) Lichte.

Kenan married Sara Moon on Oct. 5, 1990 in Lubbock and the couple made their home in Littlefield. Kenan was old-school type, who was real, honest and good hearted. He was a hard worker and took care of his family. He was a great husband and father and loved his kids. He was a cowboy, always recognizable by his trademark mustache, and his quirky nicknames he gave everyone. He loved old westerns, especially Lonesome Dove. Kenan was a Baptist.

He is survived by a daughter, Abby Lichte of Canyon; two sons, Brogan Lichte of Canyon and Cable Lichte of Littlefield; a sister, Gail Kloiber and husband, Kim of Littlefield; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sara, Jan. 31, 2020; his parents; and a brother.

Funeral services to celebrate the life Kenan led was held Monday morning, Nov. 15, 2021 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield with Pastor Tracy Spencer officiating. Interment followed in Littlefield Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Mike Morris, Tim Walker, Monty Angel, Alex Keithley, Ben McKinnon, and Eddie McCurry. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
