Jason J. Sanchez, 57, of Levelland went to be with the Lord on Nov.1 , 2021. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 , at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment followed in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
He was born May 14, 1964 in Littlefield to Joe Sanchez and Refuija Hernandez. Jason obtained his associates degree in Law Enforcement at South Plains College. He married Leticia Sanchez in Lubbock on July 31, 1992.
Jason loved family and friends. He had a big heart to help others. Jason was very active in the community. He served in the Breakfast Rotary Club, was a board member of South Plains Community Action, scout leader and a band booster. Jason also dedicated his time to volunteer to a number of local organizations.
He is well known as business owner of Plains Motor Supply.
Jason is survived by his wife of 29 years, Leticia Sanchez; daughters, Patricia (Sam Soriano) Rios, Kristina (Christina) Sanchez and Miriah Sanchez; son, Ricky Sanchez; adopted children, Esperanza Acosta, Alex Villanueva and Sarah Estrada; mother, Refuija Hernandez; father, Joe Sanchez; sib lings, Joe Sanchez, Jay Sanchez, Terri Contreras, Martha Sanchez, Catrina Hernandez, Esperanza Hernandez and Esmeralda Hernandez; five grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
