Polly L. Braswell former Littlefield resident went to be with the Lord October 26, 2021.

She graduated from Littlefield High School in 1953.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mabel Alexander; two husbands, Tack Purdy and Kenneth Braswell; one daughter, Debby Purdy Hill.

She leaves one son, Dan Purdy (Melody); one grandson, Adam (Chris) Hill; great grandchildren, Kamryn, Preston, Tyler, Brady, Jackson and Christian Hill, Caden Suits and Jadrian Reyes; and great-great grandchildren, Paxton and Olivia.

She enjoyed working with the children at First Baptist Church in Odessa and witnessing to the homeless. For the past twelve years, she had been a resident at the Baptist Village of Owasso, OK where she touched many lives. Up until a few years ago, she went to various churches giving her testimony. Through the years, she would speak at Christian functions. She had a love for Israel and the Jewish people. She loved her family, enjoyed visiting on the phone with her nieces and friends and especially loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
