ELIDA RENDON

Elida Rendon, 82, of Anton passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at home. She was born Sept. 28, 1939 in Asherton, TX to Silverio Medina and Alejandra Lopez Medina.

Elida married Trinidad Rendon in December of 1955 in San Antonio, TX. The couple moved from San Antonio to Anton in 1956. She enjoyed working in the yard and tending to her flowers and dancing. Elida was an excellent cook. She was a Catholic.

Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Anton with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Interment followed in Anton Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Dustin Lisama, Noah Rendon, Jacob Rendon, Michael Rendon, Breeze Rendon and Adrian Rodriquez. Rosary was recited Monday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
