He read the bible every morning and enjoyed Country Gospel Music Radio and TV shows throughout his life. He loved his son-in-law, Mike Garrett, his grandsons, Dustin and wife, Kristi, and Taylon and wife, Shelby with every ounce of his being. He attended Dustin's concerts at the Cactus Theater tirelessly, and cheered on Taylon in the stands at every football game and powerlifting meet. He didn't think his life could be enriched further, until his great-grandchildren were born. He was a proud Great-Grandfather of Stevie, Julia, Lennon, & Oaklynn.
