Benito V. Flores, age 72, of Anton, passed on April 8, 2021 in Levelland. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday morning, April 12, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Anton with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Interment took place at Anton Cemetery. Services was under the care of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield. Rosary was recited at the funeral home on Sunday evening.
He was born March 4, 1949, in Brownfield, TX, to Tiofilo and Alejandra Flores—the youngest of six children. He was raised by his mother after his father’s passing in 1950.
He attended Spade and Pep schools and finished seventh grade before becoming a farm worker to help support his mom.
He married Natalia Alvarado in 1971. He and Natalia have five children and made their home in the community of Anton.
Ben was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Anton. He served his church community and the Anton Community in several ways.
