County Liquor Permit Fees
Brenda Goheen, Lamb County Tax Office discussed the collection of County Fees for Liquor Permits.
She said the fee for a two-year premit, could go up to as high as $500, but she feels that amount is too high for Lamb County’s smaller businesses. She asked the commissioners to set the fee at $250 fora two-year permit, and the commissioners approved her request in a unanimous vote.

Future Agenda Items Help for Springlake Fire Dept.
Steve Busby presented a written request to the commissioners, asking for the county’s support for equipment for first responders of the Springlake Fire Department.
Recently, the Springlake Fire Department has been covering many of the calls for Earth, and Springlake needs several things to become more qualified. No action was taken.
Hospital’s needs
Cindy Klein Pope, Chief Executive Officer of Lamb Healthvcare Center, approached the commissioners about some construction suggestions that are being recommended for changes on the hospital building, to allow proper care of patients, and to be able to use the COVID funding.
She was to meet with someone Tuesday, to get answers to the many questions that came up during the discussions.
The COVID funding must be used, or it has to be returned, so the questions concerning the funding are high on the list of the hospital, as well as Lamb County.
Before adjourning at 11;12 a.m., Judge DeLoach advised the matter will be kept in consideration, but currently, the county is not in a position to use a lot of expense.
