Julian Talamantes Sanchez

Julian Talamantes Sanchez, 63, of Littlefield, passed away on Jan. 17, 2021. He was born on Feb. 6, 1957, in Catarina, TX to Juan and Antonia (Talamantes) Sanchez.

He attended school in Big Wells. Where he grew up. He went on to receive a mechanics degree. His family moved to Littlefield in the late 70’s. He enjoyed working on cars. He lived by the phrase “another man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” He loved to collect things. And on

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Annabel Maldonado.

Julian managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his fmal day, he was surrounded by his children, who he adored more than anything else in the world.

Those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Jessie Sanchez ofPaducah, Juanita Sanchez, ofLittlefield, Carmen Sanchez, of Lubbock and Elenore Sanchez of Littlefield. Eleven grandchildren: Fabian Amalla, Joshua Amalla, Maribel Amalla, Carlos Rios of Anton. Jazmine Casas, Estrella Casas, Aron Casas, Alex Casas of Lubbock, and Gabrielle Sanchez, Pedro Olguin, and Mari Olguin of Littlefield. Six great-grandchildren: Noah Rios, Elijah Rios, Jocelyn Amalla of Anton, Isabelle Peralez of Littlefield, and Angel Casas and Avianna Salas of Lubbock. He is also survived by two brothers, Juan Sanchez Jr. of Lubbock and Luis Sanchez of Andrews.
