Dennis Boyd Cawthon 75, of San Antonio Texas went home to be with the Lord September 14,2026. He was bom in Plainview, Texas to Wiley and Donna Cawthon on October 30, 1950.
Dennis proudly served in the United States Airforce from 1970 to 1974. He was the founder of Church Under the Bridge in San Antonio, a Church for the homeless community in 1996 and served as Pastor until 2018 when he retired due to health issues. He had a PhD in Theology.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Cawthon of San Antonio, Texas; his daughters, Brandy Stewart and husband, Mark of San Antonio, Texas and April Stephens and husband, Ken of Greenville, North Carolina. He has eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was loved and respected by many, especially in the homeless community.
Dennis will be greatly missed.
