Tom Boyd, 62, of Littiefield, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was bom on January 30, 1964, in Millington, Tennessee to Lawrence Boyd and Marjorie Boyd (King).
Tom was a proud graduate of the Class of 1982 at Littlefield High School. In 1985, Tom married his beloved wife, DeAnna Rae Boyd in Littlefield. Texas. He was adored by his children and grandchildren. The grands referred to Tom as their Top. ’ Hard work kept Tom busy and providing for his family gave him purpose. Tom worked as a maintenance mechanic at Xcel Energy beginning in 2002. Moreover, he was a handyman of many things and could often be seen working in his yard.
Tom was a hobbyist and enjoyed his time spent camping and fishing. Having his family around was a cherished time. He and DeAnna enjoyed taking vacations or trips and experiencing what the world had to offer together. Tom had great admiration for cars. He had an unwavering companionship with his dog. Tug. In his spare time, Tom would relax and watch old westerns, movies, or Star Trek.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, DeAnna Boyd of Littlefield, Texas: three children. Damon Boyd of Rapid City, South Dakota, Kamille Talk and husband, CoitonofWolfforth, Texas, and Samantha Boyd of Lubbock. Texas; three grandchildren. KarderTalk. Conner Talk, and Kingston Bates; and sister, Tami Chadwell and husband, Chad of Moore, Oklahoma, Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marjorie Boyd; a brother. Tim Boyd; and a sister, Tina Hinman Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 10,2026, with Micheál Simpson officiating at Grace Chapel within Hillcrest Funeral Home in Litdefield, Texas. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
