To Faithful Readers...

It is with much regret that I forego writing The Idle American, for a time. Health issues must have priority. If is possible and the Lord willing, I hope to resume within the next few weeks. I deeply appreciate the kind attention of editors-and, by all means, my readers-- who have been encouraging over the past 23 years. The column has run in almost 200 newspapers, as well as on blogs and in internet newspapers.
