Roy N. Burk, D.D.S, 75, of Littlefield, Texas entered eternal life on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. He was born on November 9, 1950, to Glenn Stone Burk and Margie Burk.
Roy graduated from Littlefield High School in 1969. He married his loving wife, Jan Evitte Layman on September 23, 1989, in Ransom Canyon, Texas. They were blessed with a son and three daughters. He and Jan loved the family they created and instilled greatness in them all. Roy earned his fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He owned and operated Roy Burk, D.D.S. in Littlefield for 40 years. In 2017, he completed his career in dentistry and retired. He was a member of the Texas State Dental Board and South Plains District Dental Society (SPDDS). Furthermore, Roy served many years for the West Texas Eye Bank. He also served in various positions for the Lions Club, Littlefield Noon Lions.
A life full of service was a testament to Roy's faith. He practiced his faith as a long-time member of Trinity Church of Lubbock, Texas. Roy was an avid reader and gained peace through the vast number of books he read. He enjoyed traveling and making memories with Jan on every trip. Roy and Jan visited all 50 states. He poured his love into his grands. They all referred to him as their, 'Grumpy.' His life's legacy will continue to live on through his wife, children, grands, and friends.
Those left to carry on his memory are his beloved wife, Jan Burk; son, Andy Burk of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three daughters, Bonnie Caldwell and spouse, Matthew of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kendra Homer of Lubbock, Texas, and Klisha Bush and spouse, Ricky of Tomball, Texas; eight grandchildren, Madison Burk, Mandy Trevino and spouse, Michael Tijerina, Courtney Maxwell and spouse, Marquell, Kinsey Homer, Brett Homer and wife, Cambrie, Abby Homer, Keyla McGuire and spouse, Sean, and Kaeli Campbell and spouse, Nathan; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Kay Burk Dokken; and a brother-in-law, Quentin Dokken of Austin, Texas.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Stone Burk and Margie Burk; and two brothers, Jimmy Burk, and Don Burk.
Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2026, at Grace Chapel within Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.

Cremation arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
